Episode Recap

Peter and his friends come across a bird scooter. After Joe creates a somewhat catchy song about the same, the guys decide to go on a scooter trip in Family Guy season 21 episode 10. Yes, four adults on one weak scooter. They drive to a number of places, including the Washington Monument, before going off the road and crashing into a river. Major West arrives just in time to save the group from the bloodthirsty but docile crocodile.

A big cheer for Mayor Vest prompts Stewie to want to be Mayor in the future. Handing out flyers, Doug informs Stewie that he is running for Snack Captain. Stewie decides to compete for the title against Doug, as this could be the first step to becoming a fully-fledged politician.

Stewie makes Brian his campaign manager - assigning a bunch of weird tasks. Before long, pre-election mayhem ensues. Both Doug and Stewie tend to put each other down. Chris later joins Stewie's campaign. But Chris changes his party a day before the election.

During the argument, Doug makes the startling revelation that Stewie was born by mistake because of the large age difference between Stewie and his siblings. Much to Stewie's annoyance, Brian supports Doug's theory. It is later revealed that Chris was the leaker.

Trying to make up for his mistake, Chris takes Stewie to a secret porn library - where he gives him a sex tape of Peter and Lois from the day Stewie was pregnant. The tape reveals that Lois wants children, but the same is not true for Peter. Stewie is happy because he thinks he's only half wrong (makes sense).

Stewie wins the election because most of the kids in the class can relate to him. He later tells Brian that Doug died in a plane crash. Does she have a role in Doug's death?

  Episode Review

The latest Family Guy series has more political satire than comedy. The scenario hits politicians who start behaving like children in the days leading up to the election. Regardless, this is a must watch episode if you like Stewie in action. It's funny, but a few of the jokes feel pointless and disconnected. All in all, it manages to keep us hooked until the election results are announced.
